Installation method

Both support screw fixation (equipped with M5/M6 stainless steel screws). However, due to their soft texture, plastic hinges can adapt to minor deviations in the pre-drilled holes of the seat cover through slight deformation (compatible with ±1mm error). Stainless steel hinges require strict matching of hole dimensions (error must be controlled within ±0.5mm), so it is recommended to measure accurately with a caliper before installation.​

Maintenance costs

If plastic hinges crack or break, the replacement cost per piece is low, and they can be manually disassembled without professional tools. Due to their strong material, stainless steel hinges basically require no daily maintenance. If replacement is needed due to deformation from external impact, the cost per piece is slightly higher, but the replacement frequency is much lower than that of plastic hinges.​
